5 Things for Kids and Familys To Do In South Jersey

A little change in plans, this week I was originally going to talk about Weber’s Drive In and talk about kids activities after that. But, I couldn’t wait to share with you my favorite things for kids and families to do in South Jersey! So, lets dive in!

Wether you’re looking a venue for your kid’s next birthday, or looking to tire them out for the day Bounce U! is a great place to spend the afternoon with little ones. They have many locations including Blackwood and Cherry Hill

Bounce U! is known for their birthday parties starting at $149 (you can streamline the part process by adding on a food package and goodie bags etc… for an additional cost). But Bounce U! is open daily for “Open Bounces” where you can bring kids to bounce for $8.95. They also offer programs for children with sensory issues and even host events like “Kids Night Out” where you can drop your kids off from 6pm-10pm for $14.95 which includes dinner and supervision for the night.

For artistic minds, Color Me Mine, in Voorhees, NJ is a great spot to visit.

There anyone can paint their own pottery. Things like pots, vases, banks, and other keepsakes can be made by artists of any age.

It’s a great keepsake to have, a popular item families make is a serving bowl with the hand prints of all the family members. Color Me Mind also hosts kids birthday parties as well as bridal showers etc.

If you find yourself near Cherry Hill, NJ with kids check out The Garden State Discovery Museum. For a day pass it’s $10.95 – or they also offer affordable membership options.

The museum offers lots of educational programs, workshops and performances for kids of all ages.

Once inside the museum is split into distinct areas of discovery and play. Wether kids want to see what it’s like working at a news station, or a diner, or learn more about bubbles The Garden State Discovery Museum has it there!

If your kids need to cool off Sahara Sam’s is open year round to make a splash!

Annual passes can be purchased for $59.95 or day passes can be purchased also. Lazy rivers, slides, wave pools etc… can be found indoors and outdoors. Outdoor attractions, including an adult tiki bard, are open May – September.

The West Berlin attraction also hosts parties and group events.

Since 1955, Storybook Land in Egg Harbor Township, NJ has been New Jersey’s own Disneyland.

With rides, characters, and food it’s a great day get away for any family. And with the weather getting nice out, it’s a great stop instead of or on your way to the beach.

The park is also open during Christmas time when the whole park is lit in thousands of colorful lights by Santa Clause with a flick of his wrist.
